Job Description

  • Lead and manage the team in the area of operational risks with robust controls to ensure compliance and business continuity
  • Manage and support risk associated with Cyber Security and manage regulatory correspondence
  • Will be responsible for developing and reviewing the ongoing BAU processes related to Controls and Quality Assurance and be responsible for building and/or leveraging on tools to ensure preparedness for both internal and external audits
  • To partner with T&O Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, Financial Crime & Security Services and other units of Consumer Banking Operations to ensure alignment with KYC, AML, FCSS, Regulatory and Risk Policy framework
  • Work with other units in Consumer Banking Operations to promote risk awareness, perform necessary checks and reporting in line with Group s policies, standards and guidelines
  • To support any new risk management and regulatory initiatives that might be introduced from time to time.
Impact on the Business:
  • Manage regulatory correspondences received from regulators (RBI, IBA, ED, SEBI etc) to review and revert appropriately as per the defined timelines.
  • Manage and execute Quality assurance across CBO functions and act as preventive measure to identify various process adherence and alignment.
  • Manage and execute regulatory reporting across CBO functions and perform quality checks on reporting completed by specific CBO functions directly.
  • Review of New Product Launch, Change Request, Outsourcing Risk Register & Business Requirement documents to ensure alignment with CBO requirements, regulatory mandates, process adherence and operations risk requirements.
  • Support control activities for Digi product and CBO related functions which is identified and delegated to Risk & Compliance team.
  • Identify and escalate emerging and upstream operational risk, including risk event management, report and action plan tracking to internal stakeholders.
  • Receive AML, Suspicious transaction & other regulatory checks from RBI towards reviewing and initiating actions as per defined standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure support on CBO Internal and External audit and being owner of the process and QA checks.
Customers / Stakeholders:
  • Act as liaison for T&O and CBO Risk
  • To support CBO Risk Management/Compliance/Legal/Audit and with Corporate Security, Vendors, other Business Units in BCM related matters
  • Ensure balanced approach towards providing effortless digital banking experience for customers and driving risk and compliance agenda.
Teamwork:
  • Lead the team and work with the them to support CBG Business, LCS, FCSS, T&O stakeholders in the management of risk, controls, compliance and BCP.
  • Ongoing communication with other team members and promote awareness of governance, risk, control and TAT.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience with good understanding of operational risk and business continuity management preferably with banking industry.
  • Good to have possess at least 2 years of people management experience
  • Knowledge of Contact Centre or Operations Centre in the Banking industry preferred
