Job Description

Your essential responsibilities include: Review and analyze the requirement documents for Automation purposeDefine and execute Automation test strategies, plans, estimations for small to medium size projects (primarily but not limited to Runners and Minor Repeaters)Contribute in executing the Automation test strategy, plan of large size projects (primarily but not limited to Major Repeaters, Aliens/Strangers)Hold and/or facilitate Automation test strategy / case reviews with cross-functional teamsCreate and review traceability matrix between requirements and testing artifacts and ensure optimum test coverageCreate, review and maintain automated test cases/scripts, test data and execute test cases/scriptsDefine and maintain automation framework for creating reusable and modular automated scriptsUnderstand & leverage technology specific protocols, integration with diagnostic and monitoring tools, troubleshoot and resolve automation testing related issuesIdentify and raise the potential risk and issues in timeCreate and distribute QA status reports, test closure reportsContinuously track, capture and publish data for standard QA metricsMake effective use of Eaton standard processes and tools for testing activitiesBuild and share domain/technical knowledge across the team/groupParticipate in Continuous improvement initiatives related to processes or policies impacting QA for the applications/projects/enterprise.Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering/ Masters in Computer Applications
  • 4-8 years of QA Experience
  • Advance Automation Knowledge both on SAP & Non-SAP related applications
  • Strong Hands-on experience using WorkSoft Automation Tool
  • Hold good working knowledge on any other automation tools like HP UFT, OATS, Selenium & Robot Framework, will be a added advantage
  • Possess good Knowledge using HP ALM, JIRA & Solution Manager
  • Implementation knowledge of CI-CD Pipeline, Jenkins
  • Possess working knowledge on other WorkSoft Products like Execution Manager, BPP, Impact Analysis
  • Able to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Manage to priorities and reprioritize
  • Have strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with experience of direct stakeholder involvement
  • Must demonstrate high drive for results and self-learning, Self-motivated attitude
  • Testing tools related certification is a plus
