Job Description

Inviting Embedded Developers to be part of High Performing Team. Must Have Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years programming experience in C/C++ and Java.
  • Must have experience with various Zigbee Protocol.
  • Must have Knowledge of various Android Platforms and Framework.
  • Extensive experience with Linux development with knowledge of OS underpinnings including the kernel, services and other user-space software.
  • Knowledge of ARM and Zigbee SoC or related embedded processors (iMX5x, iMX6x, EM35X etc).
  • Experience with embedded development and build environments including Yocto, Android NDK.
  • Experience with various Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo etc.).
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering/Science or Electronics & Communication
Good to have Skills: 1. Programming experience in BASH and/or Python is a plus. 2. Experience with source control environments such as Git or SVN. 3. Candidate MUST have knowledge on Android Framework and BSP. Detailed Description of the Job Profile 1. Modify existing Home Automation and Security System architecture to add new Zigbee and Wi-Fi device support. 2. Experience in initial board bring up on new hardware, preferably for Freescale i.MX based platform for Android operating system and/or ARM-based processors 3. Experience in Customization boot-loader and Linux operating system for embedded platforms 4. Experience in porting board support packages from reference platform 5. Modify existing Android Framework code (media framework, HAL, RILD etc.) to fix any open source bugs/issues 6. Port Android OS (Kitkat, Nougat, Oreo etc.) on custom board based on Qualcomm, Freescale 7. Work with QA/Support and development team to investigate field or production issues and fix them. 8.
