Job Description

    • Responsible for standard housing - planning, production plan ensuring monthly demand of Pall Industrial.
    • Should be able to drive KPI of planning team & deliver on time results.
    • Participate in various process improvement actions, lead them, implement strategies & monitor sustainment. Adherence to agreed standard work & RACI.
    • Periodic order backlog review to identify demand.
    • Review of IncoTerms, leadtime & ordering part numbers from booked orders. Coordinate with Customer Support team to resolve any inconsistency in order booking.
    • Raise purchase requisition post Inventory review, on-order stock review.
    • Coordinate with procurement for purchase actions
    • Coordinate with sales & finance for credit release to enable shipments. Analyses risk & escalate to sales leader for support.
    • Weekly progress reporting to key stakeholders
    • Provide monthly priority plan to supplier. Discuss vendor load with procurement.
    • Review shipment priority with sales leader. Adjust priority plan as per business changes.
    • Propose advance inventory of long lead items reviewing trends & forecast. Periodic review inventory trends.
    • Review of finished good inventory & followup with sales to liquidate inventory.
    • Provide weekly production plan to shopfloor based on customer requested shipment date.
    • Review schedule of child items & accessories receipt before release of production plan.
    • Provide fortnightly shipment plan with logistic team and plan cost competitive logistic arrangement.
    • Review of spent cost analysis, gross margin. Report & escalate for any major impact or deviation.
    • Participate in SQDIP, Visual & Daily Management team meetings. Review trends, Carry out root cause analysis for any failure, ensure sustainment. Use problem solving process to resolve repetitive issues.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s in Engineering (Mechanical) with minimum experience of 6+ years
    Position Competencies (must haves for the position):
    • Experience in planning, scheduling, inventory management
    • Knowledge of plant operations, shop floor operations, project management
    • Should be capable to handle multiple tasks apart from regular work
    • Understands the manufacturing process thoroughly and has reasonable expectations as to what can be accomplished in a certain timeframe.
    • Should be good team player and should deliver result as per the Corporate expectation.
    • Is able to easily motivate others.
    • Has good problem-solving skills and can easily revise plan as needed.
    • Takes responsibility for mistakes and holds others accountable for theirs as well.
    • Capable of driving actions as per agreed action plan & ensure closure of actions on time.
    • Should be flexible and able to reach changes as need
    • Should have experience in shopfloor operation, plant operation and project management.
    • Able to manage scope, time schedule, budget, risk & communication while working with different stakeholder.
    • Self-initiator, Good communication skill, working with multiple functions in global environment.
    • Able to manage different stakeholders, liaison with vendors to manage demand, able to create advance inventory planning based on demand forecast and lead-time.
    • Should have knowledge to drive Lean manufacturing/production. Basic knowledge of process improvement tools like Kaizen, 5S, standard work, daily management & visual management.
    • Preferred to have hands-on experience in advance Excel, SAP PP, MS Project. Should have good presentation skills.

    • Experience working with CFT (Cross Functional Teams will be an advantage)
