Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.Introduction:The Application Support Specialist will perform a critical role in GTSM Corporate with responsibility to ensure stability, continuity and availability of the application, in addition to providing rapid response to incidents and escalated user queries Own, maintain and track incidents and problems through their entire lifecycle Hands-on technical role, and should be able to work independently Manage the successful handover of change into the production environmentWhat will you be doing Level 2 incident management Participation in service reviews and post incident reviews Reviewing of Implementation Plans & Release Documentation Coordination, Support and Execution- during and post change implementation Input into service improvements and stability initiatives Investigation and coordination for closure in support of triage and major incident calls Analysis and closure for Capacity/Performance Management On the ground interface for business/change teams On call support and ad-hoc overtime as appropriate Maintain open and timely dialogue with relevant business, supplier and IT personnel, and Change the Bank development teamsWhat We re Looking For:-Experience in the following technologiesUnix/Linux, Oracle PL/SQL, TWS/Autosys Connect Direct, IBM MQSkills that will help you in the role:-Graduate degree preferred AppDynamics, Net cool, Geneos ITRS, ELK, Cloud & Wily Open source Kafka ITIL V3/V4 Knowledge of Payments Domain specific to Faster Payments/Instant Payments is a significant advantageWhere will you be working PuneBe More at BarclaysAt Barclays, each day is about being more as a professional, and as a person.
