Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables -To lead a team of Supervisors -Validation of durability & performance vehicles (Thermal, Brakes, Steering, Dynamics, etc.,) -Planning & testing of vehicles as per project plan -Simulate customer end failure & field failure in testing -To generate reports and give feedback. -Test data management -To interact with design engineers and plan necessary development and validation tests -Liason with external test agencies like ARAI, CIRT, VRDE etc for executing tests as per requirement -To incorporate process improvements based on governing standards and practices, follow Quality systems such as ISO/TS, QS, OHSAS, 5S, etc. -Measure wear & tear for components life establishment -Prepare/Verify DVP/DFMEA/Test reports as per project requirements -Create / manage test data / test procedures / SOP -Team management to meet desired results & targets -Budget preparations for projects Experience BE / B.Tech - Should have 4 to 6 years of experience in automotive validation departmentDiploma - Should have 8 to 10 years of experience in automotive validation department Qualifications BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering Or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering Industry Preferred Automotive (Commercial Vehicles, Trucks & Buses) General Requirements 1. Vehicle/System testing (Testing methodology, type of tests such as durability, multi environmental tests, accelerated life test, Endurance testing, Highway durability, all Performance test Veh level) 2. Working knowledege about DVP/DFMEA/APQP etc. 3. Functional & technical knowledge about -Failure analysis in vehicle -Electrical components / system in Automotive vehicle -Wear & Tear measurement of brakes, tyres etc. -Performance data analysis and draw conclusions/inference -Shop floor management (Technician & driver management) -Knowledge on electric vehicles drive train 4. Test data analysis & reporting,
