Job Description

    About the Role:This is a full-time software development position reporting to a hands-on technical lead on a high demand growing commercial banking application. Developers work in small, focused agile teams with a high degree of autonomy and constant opportunities to participate in product, user experience, technical and architectural design. Developers are involved for the full software lifecycle from design, development and testing all the way through demonstration, training and production go-live.Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
    • At least 6 years of experience with Java and Object Oriented Programming
    • Experience in all phases of software development using agile methodologies
    • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or above, SOAP and RESTful web services
    • Spring Framework / Spring Boot and related microservice technologies
    • Creation of new microservices and any prior experience around porting current functionality to new microservices
    • SQL with JDBC and Hibernate/JPA
    • Experience with Linux / Unix environments
    • Git version control
    • Unit testing and continuous integration
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and applying them to improve our products
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • JavaScript including frameworks such as Angular 8 or above, Ember, and jQuery; HTML and CSS web development
    • Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries
    • Container and cloud deployment platforms such as AWS and Cloud Foundry
    • Experience with wide range of Java technologies
    • Experience with Linux and/or Unix operating systems
    • Experience with Groovy/Grails or other dynamic JVM languages
    • Experience with and enthusiasm for open-source technologies ( i.e. Apache, Tomcat and many more)
    • Familiarity with JUnit, unit testing and continuous integration best practices
    • Experience with financial systems and formats (NACHA, EDI, SWIFT, BAI, etc.) a plus
