Job Description

    Do you like to work and explore multiple, complex IT technologies Do you have analytical mindset Are you at your best when supporting others Do you have strong interpersonal communication and independent problem-solving skills Do you look for improvements in day-to-day activities We are looking for someone like that, who can help us with following key tasks: Provide all levels of technical support for Business Objects, BI4.1/BI4.2 across multiple environments Become applications SME and troubleshoot application issues, collaborating with Development teams Engineer out manual efforts by identifying the scope for and implementing automations Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements Build the team s capability though continuous knowledge sharing and write technical documentation Troubleshooting end-user issues and providing effective solutions to clients You will be familiar with the Incident Management process The role also requires you to perform various BCM activities, planning and delivery. plan, evaluate, migrate, develop, implement, configure, test and roll out systems (hardware or software, networks, controls) analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring measures to remedy them You will be exposed to other technologies besides Business Objects The Candidate is required to have good knowledge of Wintel/Linux/web technologies along with the BI systems.Your teamThe role is part of a global team based in Pune, India The team provides Business Objects and Microstrategy support for the bank globally The team integrates closely with other partner teams such as unix, networks, wintel,Web, Database and storage The teams goal is to ensure operational stability in a global environment while maintaining leading edge BusinessObject tools.Diversity helps us grow, together. It strengthens our business and brings value to our clients., Must have at least 4+ years experience and knowledge of the following technologies: a university degree in computer science, management information systems or professional certifications or equivaequivalent work experience in an Information Technology field relevant experience in Business Objects 4.1/BI4.2 administration ability to work on Unix and Windows based platforms, Cluster environments & knowledge of basicserver administration (CPU/Memory) good understanding of Databases like Oracle and SQL commands strong troubleshooting skills with an attention to detail and an ability to follow process excellent verbal and written communication skills strong team/collaboration skills but equally has to be capable of working aloneNice to Have Skills: microstrategy Administration /Support ability to work and remain calm under pressure experience in automation and scripting familiarity with ITIL Concepts
