Job DescriptionMedline is growing at a very rapid pace and its business processes run on a variety of computer applications which are run primarily out of Medline s Data center in US and supported mostly by internal IT staff. Availability of IT infrastructure plays very important role in running Medline business. To ensure sustainable growth and availability , it is of prime importance to have adequate capacity planning.Medline is looking for a result oriented , energetic , full - time capacity Architect for IT Infrastructure at our Pune , India office.Primary responsibility of this position is to understand current landscape / capacity , capture growth projections organically and forecasts in interaction with other Architects / Managers , project enhancements required in the IT and other Infrastructure responsible for supporting IT (e.g. Infrastructure controlling power , cooling , humidity , etc.) and work with Architects / Managers to establish an implementable plan.The IT infrastructure consists of but not limited to , Network , Compute , Windows and UNIX environment , Database , UPS / DG backup , etc.Skills / Experience:Required:12 +years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management.5+ years of experience as an Architect / Team Lead , who has managed teams.Work experience / exposure to manage IT Operations.Thorough knowledge of ITIL process and frameworkExposure to various domains of IT Infra , such as Network , Windows / UNIX , Database , applications is mandatory.Awareness of the current technologies and tools for IT management , availability and capacity management.Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders; work with remote teams / leaders.Excellent organization , communication , analysis , and planning skills.Has prior experience of coordinating off shore / onsite teams.Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with multiple program / project managers for setting expectation of stakeholders and contribute towards effective project planning and execution.Should have good knowledge and experience of Project Management processes.RESPONSIBILITIES:Capture existing status of Infrastructure Capacity.Capture growth forecasts and project required capacity enhancementsCollaborative efforts with local and remote teams / leadersPrepare , establish and improve the process for ongoing capacity managementEstablish self as the owner of IT Capacity Management practiceEDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:Bachelor s / Master s degree in computer science or equivalent experience / certificationCertification in ITIL.
