Assistant Facilities Manager - Technical Pro- actively managing the directly procured technical services within budget. Managing the supplier relationship such that Macro International are deriving the maximising benefit from the agreement and mitigating any performance or financial risk in respect of the services. Providing technical advice, guidance and support to the site team members. Ensuring that all projects are being managed and delivered as per the agreed terms and schedule. Ensuring that all technical services are delivered in accordance with health and safety policy and guidelines. Providing data for the environmental team and QMS team in a timely manner and in the format required. Ensuring procured and managed services personnel adhere to site policy and guidelines Obtaining technical services (including services provided by subcontractors) in accordance with good industry practice and Macro procurement policies. Ensuring that complaints are recorded and handled on the same day as made and that necessary actions are being taken to ensure to eliminate the root causes. Preparing technical monthly report and ensuring that it includes all pending an ongoing issues and concerns. Developing, updating and implementing the operational processes and procedures to ensure that all technical services are being delivered in an efficient and professional manner. Ensuring at all times that they carry out their work safely and with due regard for others in accordance with health, safety and environment procedures and instructions, contractual, legislative and local requirements for investigation and corrective action. Reporting immediately to line management if they sustain an injury or become ill whilst at work, or where they are directly involved in or witness any serious incident, dangerous occurrence or significant environmental pollution incident. Notifying line management of any identified or suggested opportunity for improvement of the HSEMS and associated health, safety and environmental risk controls. Minimum of 5 years experience in building and technical facilities management. Strong organisational skills. Strong computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) Good HSE knowledge. Proficient in project management skills. Proficient in risk management skills. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. CAFM systems experience. AutoCAD skills. Proficient in planning software skills (MS Project, Primavera). Exceptional business and contract management and effective communication skills. Exceptional analytical skills. Initiative in rescheduling program activities when needed. Ability to work at a senior level with individuals from multiple disciplines and cultures. Ability to lead and coordinate small teams to tight project schedules. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Good decision maker. A degree qualification from an accredited college or university in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field is required. A degree or certification in health and safety environment.,
