Job Description

  • Providing superior technical support for some of the latest technology services like Location Based Service (based on SS7/Sigtran standards defined by GSMA) / with Working Experience on Location based service componentsGateway Mobile Location Centre (GMLC), SUPL protocol, Location Enabling Server(LES) for global enterprise customers. In addition to these technical skills agood IP network understanding is requested too.
  • The role operates within a 3 shift 24x7.
  • The team will provide a blended capability covering end to end service monitoring and issuefix.
  • The over-riding accountability is to drive for resolution of customer issuesby the most appropriate support teams and where necessary, 3 rd line field services and/or 3 rd parties.
    • It requires aproactive and customer focused view o f services with the ability to engage across functional and national boundaries . This role requires the ability to think through problems and understand the r esolution options
You ll be results driven and decisive, with a keen focus on customer needs whet her those customers are internal or external. You ll be e nthusiastic, communicating with clarity andyou ll be a committed team worker. We re looking for a network engineer who is r eliable, open to new ideas and te chnologies and who is comfortable working in an international environment
  • Unix installation, configuration and administration especially in Solaris and RedHat(RHEL 7and above)
  • Mysql Administration, Oracle Data guard
  • Shell & Python as scripting language.
  • Good understanding and knowledgeof HA proxy
  • Good understanding of Virtualisation Platform/Cloud Platform:
  • Monitoring tools like Netcool,Infovista,Crammer, HP OVO, Nagios etc.
  • Sufficient network knowledge (tcp, snmp, dns, https, sctp) and investigation tools (tcpdump, dig, netstat, lsof)
  • Deep knowledge on Sigtran protocol
  • Knowledge on SS7 and MLP protocols

  • Technical Degree: BE (Electronics & telecom/Computer)
  • Working Experience on Location based service components Gateway Mobile Location Centre (GMLC), SUPL protocol, Location Enabling Server (LES).
  • Deep knowledge on Sigtran & SS7.
  • Working experience on Cell API & Cell DB.
  • Ability to develop UNIX Shell Script.
  • Apache Tomcat

  • Total 3 5 Years of experience.
