Job Description

  • This role is responsible for supporting the Business Intelligence (BI) needs of the Vodafone Group reporting.
  • Enabling a wider expansion and deeper exploitation of business intelligence platform usage.
  • This will result in new data and reporting availability, clear and aligned definitions, improved accuracy, and preparation time being diverted to analysis and targeted decision making.
  • Work within a team based both locally and remotely to develop reports or investigations and analysis to meet business requirements, specifically
  • Understanding the business requirement.Suggesting better data modellingtechniques as per business needs.
  • Has very good understanding on the Data warehousing, KPI and Database
  • Develop macros, procedures and debugging etc.
  • This role is responsible for ensuring that true business needs are clearly identified and stated. This includes all requirements needed to deliver and maintain the solution such as required performance, tools and reporting.
  • Should have total experience of 5+ years in SAS components with relevant experience of 3+ years in BASE SAS
  • Should be proficient in Accessing data using SAS, creating Data Structures using SAS, Manage Data using SAS, Generate Reports using SAS, Handling Errors
  • Should be proficient in using PROC SQL,should be proficient with RDBMS concepts and writing SQLs
  • Should be proficient in SAS Macro language (writing code, debugging,error handling)
  • Should have hands on experiencein SAS EG
  • Should be familiar with Data Warehouse and Data modelling Concepts
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
  • Working knowledge of SAS Admin will be an added advantage
  • Good written and spoken communicationskills
