    1. JOB PURPOSE
    (Summarize in one statement why the job exists; and how it contributes to the overall objective of the company)Asst. Manager will be responsible for handling disciplinary actions process and will be custodian of the entire data/documents collected and recorded in any employee disciplinary action proceeding. He/She will be accountable for issuance of disciplinary letters, managing disciplinary action tool and follow-up with business and HR stakeholders for closure of disciplinary proceedings. He/she has to ensure correct and appropriate information input to stakeholders, with data sanity and integrity.2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES(Accountabilities associated with the job)Drafting all disciplinary letters viz. show-cause, suspension, termination, etc. considering legal spectrum.Real-time MIS updation and management to ensure correct information is available with stakeholders.Investigating into critical employee disciplinary matters and recording disciplinary action proceedings.Coordination with fraud investigating team and business teams for investigation inputs and closure action, within TAT as defined under policyGoverning absconding employee process & employee background verification discrepancies to ensure appropriate and timely disposal of matters to minimize legal /financial/reputational risk to organization.Publishing correct review dashboards to management through timely updation of disciplinary action tools and MISProviding functional and operational support to stakeholders (Legal, Business, HRBP, etc.) in terms of process guidance and data/documentation.Apply risk management concept, identify and analyze legal and compliance risk while process implementation and consultation.Demonstrate knowledge of labour laws, legal forums and legal escalation machinery, to assist stakeholders while disposal of employee disciplinary matters.Focus on automation and digitization of process areas to enhance productivity and process effectiveness.
