Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
    1. Commercial Vehicle Engine, Transmission Mounts Design and Development for CV platform
    2. Design and Deliver Engine & Transmission mounts and brackets as per QCDW (Quality, cost, delivery, weight) for SCV projects
    3. Interaction with PTD, VI (DMU), CAE, CDMM, validation, plant team for aggregate development
    4. Active participation for Resolution of Field, manufacturing, service & quality concerns.
    5. Analyse pros and cons of different designs taken into consideration performance, cost, packaging.
    6. Powertrain Mounts calculations and stiffness evaluation, bolted joint design detailing
    7. Ensure error free EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM
    8. Participate in vehicle benchmarking and strip down activities for weight and cost analysis.
    Location: Mahindra Towers, Chakan, Pune Experience 3-5 Years Industry Preferred Qualifications B.E/ B.Tech-Mechanical/ Automobile General Requirements
    1. Good Hands-on experience in CAD Modelling using CATIA V5, GD&T / Drafting of sheet metal & Casting components.
    2. Innovative thinking and Ability to generate Multiple CAD Design concept for Powertrain mounting brackets.
    3. Domain Knowledge of Powertrain Mount design, 6DOF, TRA Analysis, CAE & NVH for Powertrain mounting system,
    4. Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
    5. Knowledge of New Product Development system like MPDS, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools & GD&T Stack up Analysis
    6. Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management
    7. Knowledge of Metallurgy, manufacturing Processes, welding / bolted joints for Sheet Metal components.
