Core Design EngineerExperience of Design in Core Transport Network.A thorough understanding of transport network design; IP CORE router design; Fibre design, carrier ethernet transmission and aggregator design.Knowledge of Ethernet, SDH/PDH, EoSDH, DWDM, IP-DSLAM, lease lines, Layer 3Traffic Engineering and L2 Traffic Management, TDM and Fibre optical network techniques.A strong understanding of IP networks and protocols, including setting up of MPLS paths, addressing schemes and OSPF.Ability to liaise with stakeholders, operations center and the planners with on-going projects.Managing escalations within the team and communications to stakeholdersRequired SkillsMust have experience of design with core transport routers Cisco(ASR series), Alcatel(ARE 7750), Juniper(Nexsus/MX480/960), NCS540Must have experience of DWDM network using Alcatel PSS32 and Huawei OSN1800Must have experience in Routing and Switching, protocols and technologies such as MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, OSPF, Static Routing, IPV4 etc.Familiarity on Netcracker(Helix)/Crammer, Mapblaster/Google-Earth, Net config etc. Be able to understand the task workflow and interpretation of drawings/schematicsExperience in few Legacy devices is an advantage such as ALU 1662.Knowledge on HFC fiber design/Fibre joints.,
