Job Description

  • Provide 2nd level technical support, guidance and direction for storage prod ucts supported.
  • Manages and resolves problems identified by system administrato rs or monitoring softwares. Proficient with daily tasks which include LUN mappi ng, masking, setting storage port flags etc.
  • Has applied knowledge of SAN and S torage products like Clarion, Symmetrix, DMX , NetApp, DataDomain in largecomm ercial environment. Good knowledge/hands on experience on UNIX, Windows and VMw are platforms.
  • Works on assignments that is complex in nature wherea high degree of independent judgment, High troubleshooting skills and technical know ledge are required to resolve problems. Works independently and has ability to handle most unique situations.
  • Accountable for Storage administration and stora ge infrastructure related activities Responsible for maintaining and achieving the agreed SLA.
  • May be required to work as on-call support or inshifts to provide 24x7 type of support.
  • Accountable for managing large scale delivery of new/existing infrastructure support services.
  • Translate business requirements into a delivery road ma p
  • 4-7 Years of Storage Admin experience
  • Administration and troubles hooting of EMC Storages VNX, VPLEX, VBLOCK, ISILON and Data Domain
  • G ood handson on configuration and upgrade process of above storage systems
  • Fabric Administration/ Troubleshooting - Cisco/Brocade
  • Administration of H p-3PAR, Huawei OceanStore 5800 and 6900
  • Hands-on on UNIX Operating System
