Northern Trust is looking for a BPM Developer to join its Client Admin team. This individual as part of an Agile development team, will be responsible for analysis, design and development of user interface and web services components that meet business and technical requirements.Major Duties
  • Develop UI interface components, process flows, process events, agents and services, based on BPD documents that fit within technical framework, as outlined by BPM architects.
  • Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriate to the platform. A team player with an ability to own the design and code as per requirement given.
  • Provides L2 Support for production environment, assist in diagnosis and resolution of incidents, and maintain stability and integrity of application and systems.
  • Develops and executes software implementation/migration plans and ensures robust quality software components are installed into production environment during change management cycles.
  • Acts as a business/technical consultant to other partners and coordinates implementation of new processes and techniques
  • Communicate status (written and verbal) to relevant stake holder as required.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Agile Methodologies Scrum, Kanban and a mindset for Continuous Improvement/Delivery.
  • Knowledge of Front-end UI interface frameworks, Java, J2EE Application servers.
  • Knowledge of full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A positive goal oriented attitude with a focus on delivery.
Required Skills:
  • IBM BPM 8.5+ Process Designer skills including TeamWorks, Process center, Process server, and Process Admin console.
  • Experience in writing UCA (Under cover Agents), Event listeners and UI Coaches based on technical specifications.
  • BPM Integration experience with Restful and SOAP web services, databases, and messaging technologies such as IBM MQ and Solace.
  • Experience in REST API Development experience
  • Front-end Web/UI Development in JavaScript, JDBC, JSON/XML, HTML and CSS.
  • Good knowledge on Database concepts especially Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL).
Recommended:
  • Good understanding of IBM BPM architecture to suggest improvements for existing processes and identify performance issues
  • Exposure to Appian and related technologies Appian objects/records, SAIL language.
  • Experience in financial services
  • Knowledge PCF is an added advantage
Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Overall 5+ Years of Industry experience in IT.
  • Experience in agile development methodology.
  • Experience as hands-on software developer.
