Job Description

We are looking forward to Associate Engineer Dotnet Support based in Pune, India. This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  1. Dotnet web applications, 2 and 3 support per defined SLAs. Provide day-to-day support, predominantly Low to High complexity incidents, that are disrupting normal business operation in a timely manner, to ensure timely, reliable, cost effective service to Eaton employees and customers.
  2. Actively look for and suggest, recommend ideas for Continuous improvements identified through problem solving, technical enhancements, process improvements, lessons learned, pain points etc.
  3. Analyzes and troubleshoots simple to medium complexity production problems and implements the proper fix.
  4. Suggests and builds re-usable components (low to medium complexity)
  5. Meet BSC Support Metrics. Meet/Exceed CSAT score.
  6. Identify trends, analyze top trends, suggest automations, alternatives to reduce trends/incidents. Routinely provide insights into trends and patterns, through techniques like 8D, Root Cause Analysis etc.
  7. Good understanding of ITIL Support processes and Eaton ITSM processes, including Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management.
  8. Prioritizes incidents to ensure high impact and urgent tickets are worked on priority and taking ownership to ensure no customer impact.
  9. Serves as the primary end user contact point for related support activities and customer escalations.
  10. Reporting and Metrics define and build reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  11. Documents and create knowledge repository which will helps in providing quick resolution of tickets.
QualificationsRequirement:
  1. Basic understanding of some of Eaton IT organization.
  2. Good analytical skills and debugging skills, business process knowledge
  3. Good understanding on Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
  4. Hands on experience in Classic ASP, ASP.NET, MVC, c#, VB.NET, WCF.
  5. Hands on experience with managing version control repository like TFS, BitBucket or similar
  6. Hands on experience with IIS configurations.
  7. Should have knowledge working on Visual Basic 6
  8. Requires knowledge on Object-Oriented Programming methodology
  9. Hands on experience with RDBMS - SQL Server and Oracle, working on backend objects like stored procedures, functions. Excellent skills on PLSQL and T-SQL
  10. Good understanding of RESTful and SOAP based services
  11. Good understanding on DevOps and should have worked on tools like Kintana, Jenkins, HP-ALM or tools of similar nature.
  12. Hands on experience with Angular JS, HTML 5 / CSS
  13. Working knowledge on ITSM processes.
  14. A Bachelor s degree and two years hands on experience in design, development and support on ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC, Sql Server / Oracle
  15. Ability to work and lead collaboratively. Strong written and oral communications skills.
  16. Understands IT application infrastructure and security technologies.
  17. Understands IT operations, especially production support, release management, and problem management.
  1. Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar
  2. Experience in implementing applications using Microservices architecture
  3. Experience implementing Google Analytics in web applications
  4. Building low code with Microsoft PowerApps including experience working on connectors (free and premium) and Microsoft Flow.
