Job Description

Great opportunity to be a part of Eatons Global Supply Chain Center Of Excellence, Pune, India.The primary role is to support the global Eaton businesses as a Data Analyst from Inventory Management, SIOP, Supply Planning & Analytics perspective of Materials Function. The individual will support the Global Materials team & businesses through data gathering, analysis, automation & metric reporting. The scope is further extended to taking new transitions, developing dashboards and horizontal deployment of best practices. Person must interact cross functionally with multiple functions including planning, sales, production, finance and leadership.

  • Advanced working knowledge in MS Excel (VBA/Macro), Power BI, Python & SQL is a must. (Mid-level candidate in AI/ML)
  • Should able to work with Big & Complex data sets
  • Good communication & presentation skills to work with Global, regional & local materials management teams (local & across the globe).
  • Support the Inventory Management, SIOP, Supply Planning & Analytics perspective of Materials Function to meet the global and regional team s daily, weekly and monthly reporting timelines.
  • Responsible for sharing with the team, best inventory management practices, continuous improvement of process, development of process standards, compliance with Materials planning processes, and reporting in alignment with the regional and global supply chain organization.
  • Strong Working Knowledge ERP Systems preferably is required (Preferably SAP, Oracle, Mentor Vista)
  • Work on developing Standard work in co-ordination with Manager to deliver high quality, prompt Material Management Analytics/reporting services.
  • Support various analytical requirements from materials management perspective.
  • Should have strong functional knowledge & working experience related to Materials management & detailed understanding of concepts related to it.
  • Flexible in attitude and approach to accepting all tasks related to the position & Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required.

Qualifications
  • Should be Any Graduate / PG with 5 to 10 years of relevant supply chain experience
  • Advanced working knowledge in MS Excel (VBA/Macro), Power BI, Python & SQL is a must. (Mid-level candidate in AI/ML)
  • Functional knowledge and exposure in Materials, Inventory Optimization & management
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Should have prior exposure into manufacturing plant or supporting supply chain operations for manufacturing site (Direct production, inventory management and material planning/scheduling experience)
  • Should have good hands on ERP (Oracle, SAP, Mentor Vista)
  • Preferred exposure on forecasting tools like Business Warehousing, Inventory Entitlement softwares/applications or relevant tools.
