Job Description

Nuance Communications, Inc. is looking to fill an immediate need of Support Analyst to support HCM Systems in the Business Systems group within the IT organization. The resource would be responsible for understanding day to day operational issues, analyzing, and fixing it through design, development and testing as per the company standards. The right candidate must be disciplined, dynamic and be an excellent team player, work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines. Candidate must be a self-starter, who can work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Willingness to learn is an important facet of this job.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Support Lead and fellow members to understand the business and functional requirements in SaaS HCM systems
  • Analytical and technical (Bug code fix for Technical components (RICE) by analyzing the issue
  • Ability to perform thorough testing
  • Communicate effectively with business users and providing regular updates on issues in progress
  • System improvement and root cause fixes for recurring issues
  • Research to learn best practices and provide guidance on the best practices to be followed
  • Plan and execute testing methods to ensure functionality works as expected.
  • Exhibit flexibility in handling multiple tasks in this fast-paced IT environment.
  • Primary resource to support the existing modules and integrations in production

Knowledge, Skill, Qualification:

  • Education: BE or ME
  • Minimum years of work experience: 2+

Required skills:

  • Functional working knowledge of HRIS applications, theory and practice lifecycle.
  • Ability to create reports using tools such as SQL, BI Publisher, XML, MS Access, MS Excel.
  • SQL, PL SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle and XML reports, Shell scripts, Oracle Workflow , Oracle Apex, AOL
  • Modules: Core HR, Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation
