Responsibilities: Provide analytical products to our client partners Understand, prioritize, and create analysis plan based on market leads information needs across Analytics and Reporting Communicate client needs across broader analytics team and support effective collaboration and efforts to scale solutions across markets Understand requirements for new builds and consult with market teams on business rules and signoffs for deliverables Provide market leads with on-demand analytics support by keeping well-informed of client issues and continuously identifying ways to address those issues across clients Keep up to date of all analytic and reporting deliverables for all our clients and coordinate across all our teams, drawing in other members as necessary to balance resources Leverage existing processes for tracking and prioritizing deliverables, suggesting enhancements as needed Escalate conflicting demands that may result in delayed deliverables to Markets Ensure each report/ analysis deliverable aligns with upfront assumptions and overall business context (and bring together relevant SMEs [Analytics, Actuary, Reporting, etc. ] as needed to synthesize results) Ensure knowledge and material are shared and leveraged across our teams Create and deliver analytic products to enable fact-based decisions Develop approaches to identify opportunities to improve cost, satisfaction, quality, and monitor progress; opportunities include those related to payment model reforms, network configuration, risk management, and physician performance measurement Build automated new reports using requirements from the State/ client, QA output and obtain sign off from business leads Leverage performance data as the basis for pay-for-performance, tiered networks, narrow networks and/ or public reporting systems Highlight opportunities to impact patient health, including gaps in care, personal care goal progress, and recent health events to support physicians in data-driven decision-making Monitor industry trends in network measurement and performance and seek to influence the direction of the industry toward greater transparency, credibility, and effectiveness Develop capabilities Identify and collaborate with others to obtain the necessary data and software infrastructure capabilities Lead, manage, and mentor analytical staff Identify opportunities to create sustainable infrastructure Lead implement process improvement and automation projects Qualifications Required: Bachelor s Degree with a quantitative focus (e. g. mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, behavioral economics, pharmacoeconomics, public health, health services research) At minimum, 8-10 years of professional experience in an analytical role Significant experience in working with healthcare claims data and familiarity with claims categorization groupers, as well as ability to create an analysis plan Significant experience with analytical tools (e. g. , SAS, SQL) Experience with BI tools (e. g. Microstrategy, Tableau, Qlik etc. ) Experience as a people manager Preferred: Experience working at an analytics consulting firm, analytics or EMR vendor, disease/ case management company, health insurer, or provider system Working knowledge of episode and condition groupers, case/ episode and risk adjustment, patient attribution methodologies, and network analysis and pod development Proven track record of driving insightful findings from data, preferably in a payer/ provider context Excel/ VBA experience for automating reporting a plus,
