Job Description

We are looking forward to an Associate Analyst SCM, APAC Region in Eaton s Global Supply Chain Centre of Excellence, basedin Pune, India. The process assistant is to support Supplier Onboarding / gatekeeping process. This position would be involved in maintaining supplier database of all suppliers doing business with Eaton globally. The position requires an understanding of multiple ERP systems, workflow etc.Responsibility includes:

  • Monitor requests received from businesses, process requests as per the agreed SLA, resolve issues and queries from busineses, track approval from business / division lead and financial service center, communicate request closure to requestor, manage databases and reporting activities with 100 % accuracy and OTD
  • Able to operationally manages supplier setup / modification requests from various businesses globally
  • Should be able to manage and drive global projects in co-ordination with IT, global stakeholders and internal Eaton entities
  • Advanced Functional knowledge and exposure in Supplier Add change activities, DPO, Oracle and SAP ERP supplier master data understanding of design and reports
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to work with global, regional teams
  • Resolve queries, addresses escalations from requestors, commodity leads / business approvers and communicate with actions and resolutions
  • Reporting of daily/monthly deliverables, Creation &updating of process documents
  • Provide data / presentation decks for monthly customer reviews
  • Close coordination with cross-functional operations team to ensure closure
Technical competencies
  • Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) for basic analytics
  • Business Communication - Verbal & Written
  • Escalation Management
  • SCM domain knowledge
  • Ability to manage end-to-end adhoc projects with reference to supplier add
  • Influencing skills - Connect with customers (internal/external) with clarity and vision
  • ERP knowledge / working of ERPs like SAP/Oracle/Qlikview
  • VBA coding/ automation skills can be an added advantage
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s/Master s Degree from an accredited institution
  • 2- 4 years of working experience in manufacturing industries / similar industry will be required where there has been exposure on master data maintenance.
  • Interpersonal skills - Able to work in a global environment and with stakeholders located in different regions of the world
  • Time / Priority Management - An individual with a strong sense of urgency
