Job Description

Location: MTWD-Pun Office, INPosition: (L8O/L7O)Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

  • Thorough knowledge of structural system parts like Cylinder block, Cylinder head, Engine Cover, Intake and Exhaust, etc.
  • Concept selection of structural system for motorcycle and scooter engine applications
  • Understanding of parts like cylinder head gasket, rocker cover and engine breathing system
  • Defining technical requirements for Structural assembly parts like cylinder block, cylinder head, engine breathing system, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of CAE and CFD analysis related to structural parts
  • Design review and Release of engineering orders
  • DVP conclusion of Structural system related parts
  • Resolving current design related issues regarding Engines by enforcing a systematic and thorough Design Process.
  • Work on up gradation of Engines keeping in view Fuel Efficiency, costs and Emission norms.
  • Ensuring updated Design standards.
Experience:
  • 2-4 yrs. in Automobile Engineering Design
Industry Preferred:
  • Any automotive OEMs
Qualifications:
  • B.E./B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech
General Requirements:
  • Hands on experience on UG-Nx, Team center to manage product life-cycle
  • Hands on experience on 3D modelling and 2D drawing preparation
  • Strong fundamentals of GD&T and Tolerance stack up analysis
  • Aware of base level calculations for engine components and systems, should possess good understanding of CAE/CFD and interpret results and corrective actions
  • Prepares Virtual validation matrix based on component level design changes and reviewed with COE to capture early design inputs for robust product design
  • Should have good knowledge of manufacturing processes & Design requirement for the same
  • Good understanding of design tools like DFMEA, DFA, DFS, preferred if use DFSS tools,
  • Excellent layout design skills
  • Excellent clarity on Engine Fundamentals.
  • Good co-ordination skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and systematic problem-solving skills.
