Job Description

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for assisting the HOD in the operational and financial management of the spa ensuring complete viability of the Spa , maximising all opportunities and resources; for ensuring that the highest standards are adhered to , and that guest experience exceeds expectation; for assisting with membership retention , renewal and functions and for establishing and maintaining marketing objectives , operating criteria , programming , budgeting , VIP guest visits , staff relations and training. RESPONSIBILITIES Is responsible forassisting the HOD in management and performance of the Spa , ensuring high standards of professionalism , customer service and optimum financial performance. Is responsible for assisting the HOD in achieving revenue targets as set by the Management. Is responsible for the quality of service , and maintenance of the product at the Spa in line with Hotel Operating Standards. Assisting the HOD in preparing the monthly financial and statistical reports , incorporating proposals and recommendations regarding policy and operation at the Spa , competition , occupancy and usage , achievement of targets. Is responsible for the achievement and regular review of the business plan and budget. Liaises with the HOD & Sales and Marketing Manager in the preparation and development of marketing plans for the year. Coordinate , impliment , and perform all promotional plans and projects for the facility. Provides leadership , direction and support to the employees at the Spa to develop a highly motivated team , who can deliver high standards of service in all areas. Assisting the HOD in effectively integrating the Spa within the Marketing Strategy and to ensure ongoing representation of the Spa , both internally and externally , Develop an annual training plan for the Spa , in conjunction with the HOD , HR Department , Training Department and ensures that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business. Monitors standards of performance and member satisfaction and introduces measures to ensure the highest standards of quality and service. Leads the planning and implementation of marketing activities within the Spa , with support from the Hotel. Is responsible for the Health and Safety of employees and members in the Spa and adhere to guidelines and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Manual. Ensures that good practice is applied to all issues in relation to employees and in conjunction with the HR Department , ensures that all Hotel HR policies and procedures are followed. Provides an effective structure for communication within the Spa at all levels. Maintains a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene at all times as per grooming standards. Is courteous to guests and other members of staff at all times. Is adaptable and accountable for all actions. Sets an example at all time to all Spa staff. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years management experience in hotel / resort spa with a background in beauty. Education Graduation from recognised university Internationally recognized beauty qualification is an add - on Required Skills Ability to maintain brand s standards , policies and procedures Ability to build and maintain relationships with Guests and Members. Organized and focused. Fluency in English language - both written and spoken Ability to multi task. Attention to details Great communication skills,
