Information Services department is seeking an automation softwarequality engineer with five (5) or more years of experience in automationframework designing and testing. Thisautomation software quality engineer must be self - motivated , inquisitive , anddetail oriented with the ability to achieve deadlines while working effectivelywithin a team environment. - JobDescription Manual testing (30%) and automation(70%) Create and maintain automated testscripts for web based applications Design and debug existing automationframework Debug automated test scripts Coordinate with onsite automationengineer for required changes in automation framework Produce test cases for detailed andhigh level requirements. Execute manual testing on web browsersand mobile devices. Perform post migration smoke testing Accurately assess impact of softwaredefects Log and report defects found duringstring testing Triage defects with team Validate detailed requirements fortestability Adhere to IS Department policiesbest practices. Work successfully within aniterative / agile environment Requirements RequiredExperience Around 7 years of overall ITexperience 3 - 5 years in designing andexecuting manual test cases for web based software. 5 years in creating automated testscripts and framework design using Selenium Web Driver (with JAVA) for webbased applications. Experience with Test NG or JUnit(reporting) framework This is not a record and playautomated testing position. The candidate must be able to write code thatintegrates the automation framework with the application. Must be highly motivated anddependable with excellent communication skills.
