Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.Introduction Should be able to understand the requirements and design aspects and design optimal tests Should be able to identify automation opportunities, design automation test approach for projects and help the lead test manager in driving the implementation Should be able to identify proper Automation Framework required for project considering different factors Should be able to create Automation scripts using defined / new framework and design guidelines Should be able to contribute to framework level changes as applicable. Should be able to create E2E CI/CD pipeline for automated suites. Executes Automated Tests and collates evidence for Test automation progress reporting and tracking. Articulates the tests executed, data used, the results and defects to project stakeholders Track and circulate automation metrics across lending testing portfolioWhat will you be doing Drive engagement with business stakeholders to ensure they understand scope and requirements for E2E testing and UAT. Liaise with business stakeholders and the project team to produce relevant impact assessments and communicate the results through the various senior stakeholder governance forums Support the Lead Test Manager in ensuring that test documentation and governance is in place to provide the framework for implementation. Get involved in requirement and design workshops and support test manager/architect in coming up with high level scenarios Support Test manager/ architect in identifying automation opportunities and defining strategy around it Provide support in implementing new enhancements in the existing code, maintenance of existing framework and functions, development of new framework if required. Should have experience in Frameworks like Data Driven, Hybrid, BDD. Strong Java programming skills, web automation skills on tool Selenium, Selenium Grid. Knowledge about Serialization - Deserialization in Java and creating POJO. Good to have knowledge about Spring/Spring-boot framework. Good Hand-on experience on Excel handling in JAVA and Database connectivity through JDBC. Should have strong Debugging skills. Should have good amount of experience on Test Automation Management Frameworks like TestNG, BDD (Cucumber), RestAssured, Page Object Model. Must have knowledge about APIs (REST) and its automation using RestAssured or HttpClient. Should have experience on CI/CD pipeline using Devops tools like Jenkins. Good to have DB skills like SQL , MongoDB, Mainframes etc. Good to have skill in Mobile Automation like Appium, SeeTest etc. Exposure to Service Virtualization tools like Broadcom Devtest Should have working knowledge of JIRA for test management and defect management Set up and Execute Automated tests and record evidence. Prepare different Automated Test Execution Suite. Raise defects with appropriate amount of details Support functional testing team in learning and executing automation scripts Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverable during test automation and dry-run phases where applicable. Escalate issues to LM as appropriate Complete tasks / deliverables within schedule constraints (for self) Maintain the documentation on confluence whenever applicable. Provide guidance to other team members/functional team on automation queries.What we re looking for: BE | B.Tech | MCA or any equivilent degree. Minimum 3 years of experience on test automation. Awareness of banking/mortgage domain and prior experience of testing in this domain will be added advantage. Experience with managing projects of medium - large complexity, business critical and cross-functional teams spanning multiple regions and functions Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation to Senior level stakeholders Able to build up good knowledge of specialist areas that projects operate in Risk and Issue management techniques and experienceSkills that will help you in the role: Good Financial industry knowledge, experience of working with Banking.
