Job Description

QA Engineer is responsible for testing of software application based on specified customers requirements and maintaining working relationships with many different groups within the organization (for example, Product, Development, BAs, customers) on a daily basis. Implementation QA Engineer is the advocate for the customer to ensure the customer receives software that conforms to agreed-upon specifications. Role and Responsibilities :

  • Assure testing coverage based on customers requirements.
  • Conduct tests review with relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct regression testing on every new release and prior delivery to the customer
  • Provide the Project with accurate status of releases
  • Conduct qualification of customer defects
  • Perform re-tests of fixed defects to ensure compliance to specifications and affected area.
  • Support the clients in their implementations of FINASTRA Products (on and off-site)
  • Work in teams to determine test objectives, execute test cases and improve testing processes
  • Strong experience in test automation using SOAP UI with Java/Groovy, API Test Automation and Selenium integration
  • Knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks, design approaches and effective implementation techniques
  • Experience with technologies such as WebSphere, SQL, XML, etc., exposure to Postman, Protractor, Robot Framework, Load UI is a plus
  • Experience on core java is a must
