Job Description

    AVP - Reconciliation Change ManagementOur client is a global financial services company with offices across the globe. The specialize in multiple lines of businesses such as wealth management, private banking, retail banking, corporate banking, and institutional banking. Actively seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President for their Pune office to oversee several change initiatives and projects along with Accounting Reconciliations of the system from the trade level data. Some of the key responsibilities will include: - Ensure the delivery of BAU and Intra Month Balance Sheet recons as per US GAAP and IFRS.- Proactively manage communication channels with various stakeholders both internally and externally.- Manage the teams capabilities around process efficiencies, discuss concerns and improve normal process tasks.- Continuous enhancement of system architecture based on a thorough understanding of product accounting.- Examining and analysing the causes of discrepancies between ledger balances and trade detail repository balances. To be eligible for this role you will require: - Qualified Accountant - CA, CPA, ACCA OR MBA (Finance).- A proven track record of managing Finance Systems Transformation & Change Management programmes and necessary resources.- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a Finance Transformation or similar environment.- International experience an essential for this opportunity.- Demonstrate leadership ability in setting direction and prioritization.- Strong communication and influencing skills required to be successful in this role.This job opening was posted long time back.
