Job Description

    Job Title: AWS DevOps Chef CookbookLocation: Pune / BangaloreShift: 24/7 Rotational SupportExperience: 5-8 YearsSkills: AWS, DevOps, Chef CookbookMode: Hybrid
    • Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues
    • Perform updates, configuration changes, and backups
    • Manage network operations for data communications
    • Ensure network infrastructure is well-documented
    • Research, evaluate, maintain, and execute code upgrades
    • Oversee monitoring and maintenance of a private IP MPLS carrier network
    • Plan, schedule, and implement network upgrades; assist with implementations and migrations
    • Provide change and problem management support
    • Create and maintain documentation for monitoring systems, processes, and hardware devices
    • Be available for shifts to rapidly troubleshoot problems resulting from changes or faults
    • Ensure global network support and maintain high system availability in collaboration with external suppliers
    • Perform day-to-day network management and troubleshooting
    • Create and maintain documentation, including monitoring processes, network diagrams, and device inventories
    • Monitor and maintain all network devices (LAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi controllers, etc.) and related equipment/services
    • Identify and troubleshoot mission-critical production network issues and end-user problems
    • Communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
    • Manage network operations, including scheduled maintenance, upgrades, obsolescence, and capacity requirements
    • Work with global teams in a 24/7 environment
    • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, logical thinking, and analytical abilities
    • Provide training, coaching, and support to colleagues
    • Manage stress and work under pressure with production issues and deadlines
    • Solve problems, resolve conflicts, make decisions, and plan effectively
    • Take ownership of issues and ensure resolution
    • Work independently, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
    • Manage vendor and supplier relationships
    • Develop technical documentation, processes, templates, and Standard Operating Procedures
    • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
    Education and Certifications:
    • Bachelors degree or minimum of 5 years relevant work experience required
    • Good understanding of LAN technologies
    • Cisco certification (CCNA) required
    • Knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies and data center technologies
    • CCNP preferred
