Job Description

DescriptionWe are seeking Azure Data Factory Engineers to join our Data Analytics team at India (Pune) Development Center. In this role, you will design and build ETL pipelines to migrate large-scale data from on-premises & cloud sources to Azure supported destinations using ADF. If you are a technology expert, with a desire to provide potential customers with the best customer experience, this is the right challenge for you.Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build pipelines by putting different activities together to migrate large-scale data from existing source to Azure destinations - SQL DW, SQL DB, Azure Data Lake etc using ADF and considering Ingestion, Transforming data, Cleansing, Differential Load, Incremental Load
  • Understanding the technical requirements of existing Data Platform and migrating to Microsoft Azure cloud platform
  • Creating proper documentation - Requirement Specs & STM (Source Target Mapping)
  • Create Schedule Triggers for data refresh and sending email notification, alerts
  • Monitoring Azure Data Factory Jobs
  • Debug existing pipelines & performance optimization
  • Writing complex stored procedures as per business needs
Candidate Profile:
  • Education: B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / MCS
  • 4 years experience
  • Excellent understanding of Azure fundamentals and Azure Data Factory
  • Should have strong knowledge of Data warehouse , BI life Cycle & SCD
  • Extensive hands on expertise on creating scalable ETL using ADF and handling complex transformations, aggregations, schema to process structured/unstructured data
  • Should have understanding on Json code
  • Should have practical knowledge on Azure SSIS integration run time
  • Must have min 2-3 years experience on end to end implementation for data migration / ETL using ADF for large enterprise i.e. from requirement gathering to solution delivery
  • Microsoft Azure Certification DP-200/DP-201 is a big plus
  • Should have hands on expertise in creating external tables and designing distributed tables in Azure SQL DW
  • Should have understanding on subscription, resource group, cost analysis, compute power
  • Knowing Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Analytics: U-SQL will be an advantage
  • Should be proficient in writing complex SQL queries
  • Must have expertise on at least one reporting tool - preferred Tableau or PowerBI
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
