Were greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.Were looking for a Back End Engineer wholl be responsible for understanding the product requirements, design, development and test back-end software for Lighting Products.Youll be part of the Signify Connected Systems and its responsibilities are building IOT based Smart Lighting products , so Problem Solving, Taking ownership, Accountability, Drive for results must be in your DNA.What youll doEnhance existing and/or develop new software that enables the launch of new cloud-based applications.Collaborate with analysts and designers in the development and initiation of new software programs and applications.Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.Research and identify 3rd party architectures, products, tools and frameworks that can be leveraged to create solutions that best meet technical and functional requirements.Analyze risk and report problems in meeting technical and functional requirements.Lead efforts to analyze alternatives, develop proofs-of-concepts, and document results (including engineering notes, issues and lessons learned).Participate in design and code reviews.What youll needBachelors or Masters degree in Engineering with 3-5 years experience in developing Web based application using J2EE, Spring, Spring BootExperience producing/ consuming REST Web services, micro services architectureStrong knowledge of Web Application architecture and Servlet/JSP/JSF programmingExcellent knowledge of database concepts, data modeling tools, and use of relational DBMS.Experience using MySql, PostgreSQL and Tomcat technologies and toolsWhat youll get in returnCompetitive salary depending on experienceExtensive set of tools to drive your career, such as a personalized learning platform, free training and coachingOpportunity to buy Signify products with discountWhat we promiseWere committed to the continuous development of our employees, using our learning to shape the future of light and create a sustainable future.
