Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesDeveloping, deploying and maintaining BI Interfaces including query tools, data visualization, and interactive dashboards, reports, ad-hoc reporting queries and data modeling tool using appropriate BI and reporting technologiesGenerating and delivering quality reports to internal and external clientsPromote the usage of self-service reporting technologies and provide ad-hoc and formal training as requiredProactively identify, recommend and deliver automation and innovative reporting efficienciesMinimum Job Requirement:1.Basic knowledge of relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server2.Experience working with Languages/Utilities: SQL, PL/SQL, Iron Python3.Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.4.Good understanding of Hadoop, Hive and Impala5.Hands on experience in HiveQL (They can probably pick it up.)6.Familiarity with BI Tools: Spotfire 7.x Preferred Job Requirement:Knowledge of workflow/schedulers like Oozie.Familiarity with data loading tools.
