Location: Pune Required skills: 10+ years of overall BI development experience (BW/ BO / HANA / SQL Composite) 5+ years of lead or team management experience Strong data analysis skills. Strong understanding of SDLC and best development practices Good understanding of Data Modeling, performance fine tuning and Data Warehousing concepts Acumen and willingness to learn and support new programming languages or reporting tools Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to independently engage all stakeholders at onsite and offshore. Willingness to troubleshoot and support critical issues during non- working hours Desired Skills: HANA modeling (Native HANA skills) Knowledge of ERP SAP, BO, Tableau, WebFocus Experience as a composite 7.0 developer (Strong experience in Composite SQL) Experience of ETL tools, preferably Talend Responsibilities: Be the go to person for all technical design queries, strong leadership qualities, ability to keep team motivated Monitor task assignment and team performance, Strive to work on any cutting edge technology Collaborate with other teams to identify and troubleshoot technical issues such as, data synchronization, application issues. Identify trends to focus on improving data quality and process through report generation and review. Oversee hiring of new talent and team development; provide training on data governance expectations, standards and processes. Lead team meeting to evaluate progress, identify existing as well as potential issues, and coordinate team s effort to develop solutions to ad hoc projects. Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Education: Experience of working in Captive is a plus.
