Build Environment Manager Location : Pune Number of Positions : 1 Experience : 6-9
Need is for Build and Environment manager for managing on-premises Development Environment setup and management ( Dev environment TC, Polarion, Build Environment, Integrated Dev Testing environment, MR Environment). There will be initial transition time as this is to replace existing team member.
Roles responsibilities : The build and environment manager is primarily to ensure that all the relevant people have the appropriate environments, test data, versioned software etc., available at the time that they need it and for the right purpose. As environment resources are normally limited, this role performs a coordinating and sometimes arbitrary role to ensure that resources are used to maximum effect. Build and test environment manager have the following key responsibilities: Ensure service infrastructure and application are built to design specification Plan different version for different environment and agree on content with different stakeholder Plan acquisition, build, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure Ensure build delivery components are from controlled sources Bundle agreed changes for configuration and customization Deploy the bundle of changes in the Build/Dev/Test environment Develop an integrated application software and infrastructure build Deliver appropriate build, operations and support documentation for the build and test environments Build, deliver and maintain required testing environments Invite developers/Super User/SME to test Update Issue Management System Required Skills : Should be conversant with Windows Upgrade, Windows patching, VM creation, VM snapshot capturing, Oracle installation, Preferably having knowledge of Teamcenter Installation, Teamcenter patching, Teamcenter cold deployment, Teamcenter upgrade, Teamcenter integration with other applications, TcRA integration etc.
