Job Description

  • Report creation based on data coming from a variety of business systems and data warehouses including Epiphany.
  • Using a variety of reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI, MyReport, Microsoft Excel, SQL Reporting Services and SharePoint 2013 Business Connectivity Services.
  • Supporting Business Intelligence and Analytics initiatives initiated by the organization.
  • Initiating data mining activities on data warehouses by working closely with a SQL DBA.
  • Understanding complex data models inside databases to collect required information for reporting purposes
  • Experienced in creating Management reports and setting up Reporting dashboards in Excel Power BI and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Creating, Updating and Improving the reports created for our Epiphany data warehouse containing financial information
  • Being involved in rationalization of existing databases.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams on request in certain projects.
  • Track and maintain appropriate project and routine activity metrics.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of accuracy during routine and project activities.
  • Other activities as required to achieve defined job objectives.
, *Skill Requirement:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (5-10 years) in market research, computer science, statistics or math is required.
  • Experience with data mining and discovering trends and patterns in large datasets.
  • Having knowledge or R and/or Machine Learning is a benefit.
  • Experienced in creating professional management reports.
  • Experienced in using SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Being able to write MDX & DAX queries
  • Candidate should be a Microsoft Excel expert.
  • Software certifications is a benefit, especially on Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of MS SQL reporting services.
  • Experience with SQL databases is required
  • Understanding and knowledge of computer systems and programming methods is a serious benefit, especially on the following languages/applications :Windows client & server), MS Office, MS SharePoint 2013, SQL Server 2008/2012, VB.NET
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills, ability to work with other people in our global organization is important. English fluency in both verbal and writing is a requirement.
  • Good organizational and troubleshooting skills. Good time-management and self starter skills are also desirable.
  • A willingness to learn is critical
