Job Description

    • This is a critical C13 role in the ICG O&T Leadership organization, working within the Business Performance Measurement (BPM) Program. The major focus for BPM IT team over 2019 to 2020 will be the following projects:
      • Expansion of the manual touch point data warehouse across all ICG operations lines of business (SSI, PF, TTS, CPB, ISG). This will include a number of functions, including data strategy. This includes optimal data sourcing and ingestion of daily inbound transactional feeds from the operations product processors. Expansion includes to increase from 120 transactional feeds to more than 400. In parallel, visualization of this information will be developed in order to provide transparency to the buildout of the central ICG operations MTP repository
      • Continuous evolution of our map & measure application frame work and the roll-out of individual user allocation functionality in 2019 (markets only)
      • Continuous evolution of volumes metrics and reporting. Maintenance of shared architecture as it pertains to productivity however deconstructing architecture & reporting where it is usurped by OCEAN program expansion (part of CMOT mandate)
Key Responsibilities
      • Recruit, manage and motivate the team of engineers and provide thought and technical leadership to deliver towards business requirements
      • Be a team player contributing towards business deliveries building true ownership and accountability of the modules/components over time
      • Act as the client facing point person for BPM & operations to support business users
      • Drive the build out and own the next generation architecture development
      • Drive reengineering efforts within the platform towards better scalability and extensibility requirements
      • Institute best practices for developing software leading to the team being more productive in delivery quality solutions for the business
      • Be accountable for all the people aspects within the delivery model including hiring, performance and career management for people based in India
, Required Job Skills and Qualifications:
  • Candidate should have 10+ years of overall technology development experience that includes 5+ years in the financial services industry (preferably in investment banks). Ideal candidate would be a self-contained individual contributor with a can do attitude to develop software meeting quality standards
  • The candidate would have prior working experience in a competitive, high paced environment to deliver software to meet business needs working within a matrix environment
  • Experience leading a group of 20+ members across functional streams within one or more platforms through business deliveries
  • Excellent working understanding with Core Java, Shell Scripting, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Angular 2, Netezza and Tomcat
  • Experience with high performance & high volume distributed enterprise systems in multi-threading and database performance tuning
  • Strong database development capabilities. RDBMS and No SQL
  • Knowledge of design methodologies; design of complex multi-dimensional systems
  • Display sound analytical, problem solving, presentation and inter-personal skills to handle various critical situations
  • Ability to carry out adaptive changes necessitated by changes in business requirements and technology
  • Post trade processing experience; Familiarity with trade life cycle and associated business processes
