Job Description

This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  1. Supplier Scheduling based on input of SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) / Marketing department
  2. Timely review of schedules in case of demand fluctuation
  3. Frequent supplier visit In case of urgency and shortages
  4. Knowledge of Vendor Managed Inventory tools like Supplier Visualization
  5. Timely removal of RTV s (Supplier rejection)
  6. Have knowledge of Jobwork activities
  7. Idea of Min-Max, Inventory Management
  8. Have idea of ABC analysis
  9. Idea of MRP, Re-order level, Standard PO, Blanket or Open Order
  10. Thorough knowledge of Oracle based SCM tools like PO creation, Release creation, ISO generation etc
  11. Sound knowledge of Excel Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, Count if, Macros etc.
  12. Coordinate between inter and intra team members
QualificationsRequirement:
  • Technical degree preferred Mechanical/Industrial Engineering followed by Operations Management
  • Five or more yrs. in a production/manufacturing environment that included contact with suppliers/customers. In-depth knowledge of Scehduling and Inventory Management, Negotiation Skills
  • Oracle based tools
