Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or higher degree in CS.
  • Should understand Networking concepts (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Proxying, etc.) and OSI Layer protocols - C in Linux (GCC, g )
  • 3 - 8 years of strong programming experience in designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, clean and reliable C code.
  • Working knowledge of software development tools (debuggers, compilers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Packet Inspection Tools like Wireshark
  • Good to know Python
  • Knowledge of Agile software engineering principles is good to have
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams is a must
  • Ability to accurately identify bottlenecks and bugs and implement reliable solutions to these problems.
  • Unit testing experience to help maintain code quality and automation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with other developers, QA, DevOps and Project Manager and take an active role in end-to-end design, development and release processes
  • Ownership of significant areas of the code for both new feature development and maintenance/redesign of existing areas of the product to accommodate rapidly evolving features
  • Continuous focus and contribution in the areas of manageability, availability, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the product
  • Active participation in our ongoing process enhancements and software development practices
