271768BR Cataract Account Manager Job Description Maximize sales and identify growth opportunities in accordance with established sales objectives for territory responsibility as defined by individual objectives and performance standards. This account manager is the key point person for an account who coordinates the team strategy as well as acts as a solution seller for the overall surgical portfolio in the assigned territory / accounts. Drive demand for the Alcon surgical Cataract product portfolio through effective consultative selling, differentiating from the competition and overcoming competitive objections with existing and potential customers. Achieve sales objectives, increasing demand and market share at or above established objectives Act as the lead and primary point of contact by driving Alcon strategies within each account Sell surgical products standalone or preferably in a procedural selling agreement and linking as appropriate to an equipment financing agreement Deliver the account strategy in various environments such as the operating room, hospital purchasing, government tender (if fall within the purview of the assigned territory), etc. Provide feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management Host effective territory meetings, ensuring appropriate attendance by HCPs within the guideline of AP3 policy. Comply with all Alcon compliance and quality guidelines (i.e. AP3, all others) Ensure that adequate administrative duties such as internal reporting, consignments and expense management are carried out to guarantee efficient operation of territory Continually upgrade one s standard of knowledge, optimizing and ensuring responsible, safe and effective use of the Alcon surgical product portfolio Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self and team Execute marketing plans and POA in accordance with established guidelines. Conduct assigned number of RTM/ CME etc. every year. Minimum requirements Post Graduate in Science, Engineering. Pharmacy Proficient in English Minimum 6 years selling experience out which 2 year must be in Alcon Surgical franchise.
