Job Description

Cloud Architect

Software & DevOps Pune, Maharashtra

Description RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the overall Design and Architecture of Software Solutions using application specific Azure services.
  • Cloud computing concepts, best practices and design patterns.
  • Conceptualize and lead deployment of modern software architecture.
  • Provide Technical Leadership in Software Development / DevOps projects.
  • Translate client s business objectives into detailed software solutions and level-of-effort estimates to implement those solutions.
  • Present the company, its capabilities and technology in a highly professional and exciting way that will engage customers and help them see the business impact and competitive advantages of working with Silicus as a solution provider.
  • Develop solution blueprint and Statements of Work contents for the proposed solution.
  • Work diligently with the customer s technical teams (architects, developers, PMOs and C-level experts) to ensure the success of all customer POCs and SOW s.
  • Assist the internal delivery team to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
  • Should have 8-10 years of Total Experience and experience within at least the last 4-8 years in Microsoft Development platform or similar.
  • Experience in developing web-based solutions involving REST APIs, microservices
  • At least 3-4 years with Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS (Preferred) and Serverless cloud technologies.
  • Various level of experience in Application Architecture, Deployment Architecture and DevOps Principles.
  • Experience with designing highly available, scalable systems with good understanding of physical architecture.
  • Experience within at least the last 4-8 years in Microsoft Development platform or similar.
  • Experience in developing web-based solutions involving REST APIs, microservices.
  • At least 3-4 years with Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS (Preferred) and Serverless cloud technologies.
  • Must have Microsoft Azure certification.
  • At least handled 6-8 small and medium Azure deployments.
  • Understanding of Security concepts like Federated Authentication, Web Application Security.
  • Strong Understanding of DevOps Principles and experience with popular tools for Build/Release automation, test automation, automated infrastructure provisioning etc.
  • Hands on experience with Containers using Docker and Container Orchestration.
  • Strong analytical skills to break down business problems and effectively use technology concepts to come up with software solution blueprints.
  • Must have proven ability to interface and interact confidently with clients.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals, for highly technical and evolving technologies to effectively execute projects.
  • Must be able to learn new technologies quickly and be able to create new labs / training materials for Autonomous Cloud and Azure DevOps CI/CD tool chains
  • Must have excellent written, oral, and presentation communications skills.
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to translate business requirements into information systems solutions.
