  • Migrate on-premises developer applications to Azure
  • Improve existing setup of applications & services on Azure
  • Automate deployments & disaster recovery
  • Improve CI/CD process for different types of application and automate as many processes as possible
  • Take part in the ongoing standardization of various developer tools in the company.
  • Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes company wide
  • Serve as a liaison with development teams to successfully identify software development best practices and help to implement them.
What you ll need
  • Recent experience within Architecture, Design and implementation of complex, highly available and highly scalable solutions
  • 2 years of experience in a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering
  • 4 years of experience in supporting web-based customer facing infrastructure and applications
  • Working knowledge and experience of general cloud infrastructure services (preferably in Azure) such as storage, networking, authentication, load balancing, firewalls etc.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, container automation experience, deploying Kubernetes clusters in the cloud preferably Azure
  • Experienced managing environments in Azure & or AWS from Dev to Production
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience in automation tools like Terraform and Ansible infrastructure-as-code to build infrastructure, platforms and environments as code
  • Software development background
  • Customer-oriented, diligent, proactive, focused on achieving customer s business objectives as top priority
  • Easy-going, friendly, communicative, positive in relations with colleagues, in every situation strives to see opportunities rather than problems
  • Great troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Able to work successfully both individually and as a team member
