Work on open source multimedia frameworks like gstreamer & ffmpeg. Develop, optimize & Integrate various audio/ video codecs like aac, opus, vorbis, h264, h265, mpeg4, mpeg2 etc and Custom build system development. Customize , build new plugins for gstreamer and ffmpeg. Investigate and integrate third party libraries. Be the guide & domain expert to any multimedia related work. Investigate & prototype new requirements in Multimedia. Communicate directly with clients for the given requirement & queries. Conduct interviews.Excellent in C, pointers manipulation, multithreading & synchronization. Excellent in development on Linux. HandsshyOn experience on internals of ffmpeg/ gstreamer/ vlc. Understanding of audio/ video codecs. Good experience of build system, Makefile / Cmake / gnu autotools. Expert in debugging tools like gdb, valgrind etc Excellent in algorithm & problem solving. Experience in assembly programming like sse, mmx, arm, neon is a plus. Understanding of linux System level programming is a plus Behavioural Skill: A Team player with high level of people skills.
