Job Description

  • Commercial Data & Integration Analyst will be driving the delivery of various projects/ initiatives concerning data and integration needs for IT Commercial of Syngenta.
  • The candidate will be dealing with various technologies like Salesforce.com, SAP ECC and BW, SAP PI/PO, Informatica, Qliksense etc. and would be expected to deliver solutions for business needs that cut across these platforms.
Accountabilities
  • Transform business requirements into workable user stories with detailed functional and technical solution design.
  • Bridge between the business stakeholders and the development team.
  • Provide technical development and support for IT Delivery Team initiatives.
  • Identify pain point areas based on issues raised and come out with proposals for improvement of the integration design with innovative ideas.
Business Dimension
  • Handle all the interactions with the business to understand specific requirements with the lens of data and integration.
  • Translation of the requirements into functional and technical designs along with other analysts of other platforms.
  • Be able to break down the business process in its component parts, understanding where are the pain points and suggest solutions for paint points.
  • Understand the key business pain points and solve those through innovative digital solutions.
Development Dimension
  • Focus on strategic, tactical and technical initiatives involving the data needs of the various technologies.
  • Proactively identify and implement operational and technical improvements team and enhancements with the development teams that drive sales productivity and improve customer experience.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • 7+ years IT experience.
  • Degree in technology. An MBA is a plus but not required.
  • 4+ years experience as an Integration/data expert with expertise on platforms like Salesforce.com, SAP ECC, BW etc.
  • Expert in programming tools and knowledge of application technologies for Commercial Platforms
  • Familiarity with Data Migration Tools and integration platforms like PI/ PO, Informatica will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies
  • Technical expertise in DevOps and system engineering tools
  • Strong knowledge of release and test management processes
  • Awareness of developments in the IT and IS marketplace and understands their relevance to Syngenta
  • Record of platform innovation and challenging the norm.
