Compliance Engineer Global Codes & Standards

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide exclusive compliances of Filtration & Seal Support Systems products manufactured under various Internationals Codes and Standards pertaining to Pressure Vessels, Piping and structural standards. Responsible for maintain & update the codes and standard registers, all engineering calculation tools, materials list, code cases, interpretation of codes / standards and create JC Standard guideline for multiple working group across global.Educate engineering, manufacturing and quality personnel s and enable our product fully compliances to the respective Codes & Standards applicable to each product line.Review of customer specifications and provide technical guidance to cross functional team related to pressure vessels, piping and structural for the Liquid & Gas Filtration, pressure contained components for Dry gas seal support systems, Gas & liquid filtration systems, Lube oil system, Seal gas and Fuel gas conditioning systems etc.Working with global team and knowledge centers, engage and collaborate with operation, supply chain and engineering team for enhancing operational excellence and continuous improvements.Duties & Responsibilities

• Standardize the process, procedure and compliances for Seal Support Systems and Filtration.
• Define work instructions, Quality Plans, Inspection and test criteria for seal support systems pressure vessels, piping and structural standards, Filter housing, Valve bodies and other pressure contained components in line with codes & standards compliances.
• Training personnel from engineering, operation and QA on codes and standards compliances and best practices.
• Revalidation of existing engineering /design calculations and QA documents as per latest codes and standards.
• Assisting engineering design process and compliances from initial product concepts through detailed design, testing, implementation of next generation product development.
• Participate in the business continuous improvement program ensuring it is embraced and supported by all functions and employees.
• Participate and assists Value Analysis / Value Engineering program and activities.
• Actively promote Environmental, Health & Safety throughout the business, ensuring EHS is a goal for all employees and ensure all EHS requirements are fulfilled in accordance with defined responsibilities.
• Other duties as required.

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline;
• Eight (8 to 10 ) or more years experience in detailed engineering / Quality Assurance/ Inspecting and testing of Pressure Vessels / Filters/ Piping / Seal support systems or similar fluid control systems products.
• Must be excellent communicator, creative, data driven with good interpersonal, mentoring and negotiation skills
• Good analytical approach with strong understanding of standard engineering practices, processes, systems and techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline oriented environment.
• Working knowledge with API - 614, API 692, API 682, ISO 10438 - 1, and NACE MR 0175, NACE MR0103 and NORSOK standards, ASME / ANSI Piping and pressure vessels standards are essential.
• Commendable knowledge on ASME Section VIII, Division 1, PD 5500, AD - 2000, DIN EN 13445, CODAP etc. are essential.
• Strong experience in liaising third party inspection agencies and inspectors on various certification process such as ASME U - Stamp, R - Stamp, PED 2014/68/EU, ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, DOSH, ARH/DPP, CRN , NR - 13 l), MOM, UDT / DT UC (Poland)
• Familiar with API Q1 and ISO 9001
• A passion for continuous improvement of self and organizations
• Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. willing to learn other advance computational engineering applications.
• Work experience on Oil & Gas Filtration, Fuel Gas Conditioning Systems, and Gas Seal Support system will added advantage for this position.
