Job Description;The position is for a Application/system administrator for our in house Regulatory platform. Northern isin progress of implementing a new global regulatory platform and the Software of choice is Vermeg byLombard. The candidate will be embedded with our implementation partner and Software vendorworking closely with both teams. The ideal candidate should have a great ability to learn new system ,be able to understand the system configuration through training, vendor documentation and hand onexperience. The ideal candidate will work closely within IT to ensure system stability and performance is at thehighest possible levels. He/She will also work with the Infrastructure and Architecture teams to ensurethe best practices for a Regulatory implementation are followed for both Data Warehousing andRegulatory Enterprise Reporting. The individual that fills this role will have the opportunity to workclosely with a team that encourages development and collaboration with the immediate goal ofsupporting the Global Regulatory Team within the company.Job Responsibilities: Regulatory Platform management Vermeg software configuration, administration , support,release management, license management, Technical planning and implementing of tools/solutions to improve the application architecture interms of performance, resiliency, availability, and scalability. Develop, maintain, and enforce Regulatory Software standards and service model(s). Develop Key solutions to lessen manual maintenance of periodic server maintenance. Develop in house Regulatory solution to report any resource intensive processes. Work in accordance to change/incident and release management methodology followed in theorganization. Proactive measures for disaster recovery and backup strategy. Open and manage PMRs with the vendor and make the proper follow ups Evaluate, understand and implement patches to Vermeg environment. Ensure environment security follows best practices Able to participate in complex projects to achieve key business objectives and able to handlesmaller projects completely on own, including interactions with other teams for design and architecture Can provide multiple design solutions along with project estimates Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approachesInvolvement with senior management in terms of supplying input for key design and architecturedecisions, as well as work estimation and resource planning Job Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Information Systems or related field. 10+ years of experience working as windows and/Or Unix admin systems in as administratordeveloper, or as an architect Experience with various process automation Experience with configuring and administering IIS 7.5 and above. Experience working with large databases ( Oracle12c ), SQL , Procedure and Functions Experience working with Batch(windows) or Unix scripting. Experience Build various System interfaces Experience with third party scheduling tools like control-m Understand various system architectures Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies like water fail and Agile,
