Job Description

Role:The job requires working for a Global Hedge Fund Administrator, specializing in administering assets of complex hedge funds. This position will primarily involve on working with external clients and conversion of their accounts into NT platform. This individual will work closely with clients, order management systems, and colleagues on the R&C Teams, Functional Teams, Shared Service, and Relationship Management teams. The position also requires good experience and in-depth knowledge in financial markets, preferably ETD Prime Broker and OTC markets and back office functions.This individual will work closely with clients, Functional Teams, Shared Service, and Relationship Management teams.This role requires the partner to work in night shift (21:30 to 06:00 HR) and work closely with onshore partners to support and collaborate with them to provide exceptional services to the clients.Major Duties:Understanding and reconciliations of transactions, security positions and cash activities. Financial instruments type include but not limited to:OTC products like Swaps, CFDs etc.Derivative products like futures and options etc.Equity, Fixed Income, BankAnalyse security and cash positions to identify discrepancies between customer s positions and counter party with good troubleshooting skills.Liaison effectively with team members, internal groups and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.Understand the conversion process; work with different brokers and IT to complete the mapping process.Act as a point of contact for major escalations and work with different teams to resolve the issues.As a subject matter expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and assistance to the conversion team.Responsible for providing timely response to queries and finding resolution to avoid repetitive actions.Works effectively both as a team member as well as an independent self-motivated individual.Responsible for multiple projects of various complexities.Cross train on other functions as well as provide back up.Establish, build & maintain effective working relationships with key partners internal and external to the organization.Drive the engagement of other partners as appropriate to solve inquiries/issues of different stake holders.Should have the ability to maintain and produce various MIS reports.Accountabilities:Employees are required to comply with the regulatory regime in which Northern Trust operates as appropriate to the above roleEmployees are expected to exercise due care and diligence, ensuring the areas the incumbent is responsible for are organised and controlledEmployees are required to observe proper standards of market, business and personal conduct, demonstrating integrity in the execution of dutiesDemonstrate high ethical standards.Reports to Senior Consultant LeadSkills: Be able to mentor through confidence and approachability. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint presentations Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to write business correspondence. Proactive and capable to handle multiple tasks under extremely time sensitive conditions.Qualifications: Bachelor s degree with emphasis in Finance ,Accounting, Master degree a plus Around 6-8 years of work experience in financial industry with at least 2 years in Implementation or functional testing or Project Management exposure will be given preference. Good understanding of trade economics related to various financial product transactions is an addition. Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management and/or Financial Services strongly preferred Should be flexible for shifts, extended working hours and weekend support. Strong knowledge of the financial markets, instruments and back office functions.,
