We are backed by 500 Startups, Monk s Hill Ventures and our solutions are built by people that understand the financing needs and challenges of small and medium businesses.We are looking for an energetic and ambitious writer to join our global marketing team.Engaging, downloadable, shareable, get them talking content is what we re after. We are looking for an associate writer to produce topical, newsworthy copy in multiple formats that attracts internal and external key audiences, expanding our company s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. Candidates must have a love of writing compelling audience-relevant content, a curiosity to learn and understand different sectors and industries, and the ability to embody the company s voice through all work.The Content Writer will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Work with the marketing team to create content solutions for the agency s intellectual capital, integrated marketing strategies and campaign activations (WE content engagement with trade publications, participation in conferences, executive profiling and sector events)
  • Develop content for year-round initiatives and internal and external activities, including executive content to support leadership platforms. Deliverables include not limited to blogs, videos, abstracts, media pitches, briefings, website pages, infographics/data visualization, newsletters, social-only content, and more
  • Partner with marketing managers to ensure the team produces consistent, compelling and engaging, audience-centric content
  • Partner with creative designer and subject matter experts to facilitate agreement on content deliverables, create the deliverables against agreed upon work back schedule
  • Contribute to review process for content projects, securing and addressing stakeholder feedback to meet project objectives and ensure content deliverables meet style, WE brand, quality and tone/voice
  • Write, edit, and/or proofread various types branded and/or sponsored content on a wide range of topics (including employee blogs, executives speeches, executive social)
  • Be a brand ambassador by demonstrating brand voice through content marketing on the global marketing team, at the agency; educate and evangelize best practices in the field across the team
  • Act as a resource for providing localized culture context
  • Partner with marketing managers to learn to measure content effectiveness
  • Work with the internal marketing team to create content for all marketing collaterals which includes and not limited to - website, articles for blog, social media post, ideate for digital campaigns, whitepapers, product information, etc.
  • Align with designer and deliver quality content collaterals
  • Update website content on CMS platform, proof read everything that goes live
  • Research to stay updated with industry news for the regions we are in business in.
, Requirements
  • Bachelor s Degree in English, Communications,Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing is preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience desired,
  • Previous internships in Public Relations or Marketing is a plus, agency experience desired
  • Fluency in English is required, additional language such as Mandarin, would be a bonus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in financial writing & understanding is preferable
  • Experience with a content management program (such as WordPress, Umbraco, Drupal) a plus
