Job Description

Providing administrative support on Universe Job Management environment. Responsible for Job Scheduling and Job Monitoring, Universe Agent installation, daily health check and tool administration activities. Provide Operations Services which primarily includes Batch execution, Application monitoring, File interface coordination. Windows Power shell script/Linux shell script writing and understanding skill is mandatory. Administration of Universe users by providing the right level of access required to the users. Troubleshooting and resolving Issues related to job failures. Configuration parameters of Universe. Logs management and logs retention of Universe. Data/Objects retrieval methods of Universe. Performance optimization required for Universe administration. Product patch installation. Coordinate with vendor in resolving Product issues. Alerts integration with monitoring tools. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and an ability to identify problems, design and articulate solutions, and implement change. Provide Operational Documentations as and when required. Good Spoken and Written Communication skills, should be able to converse freely with global counterparts. High availability of the team member which includes week days or Weekends as the Operations team is available 24 7. As a Senior Administrator, you should be able to handle first point escalation for all technical and process issues. Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required. Ensure proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager. Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders. Perform RCA for Major Incidents related to his / her tower Follow quality / security process defined for the engagement. Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents, Hardware troubleshooting & Vendor coordination Prepare Weekly and monthly status reports. Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis. Take corrective actions based on the customer satisfaction surveys. Work on the service improvement programs. Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects. Training of new team members. Able to work on Knowledge acquisition and updates to related documents ,
