The nature of the training & development role is industry- specific. We need a Trainer for a particular process in our company having 400 employees in that process. Only Trainers with a minimum experience of 3 years in a KPO or similar companies need apply. Non- negotiable skills you will need to have: Proven experience as Corporate Trainer. Great advanced Power- Point skills to be able to make international level Training documents & presentations. Proficient in e- learning software is an asset. Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels, motivate others & change peoples attitudes when necessary. Phenomenal communication, presentation & public speaking skills Initiative & the ability to offer new ideas Good time- keeping skills to enable you to effectively manage training schedules & develop training programs. Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills & willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching. Phenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skills. Must have good problem solving and decision making skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment. Roles: Identify training & development needs within the organisation through job analysis & regular consultation with business managers, human resources & the CEO. Design & expand the training & development programmes based on the needs of the organisation & the individuals & devise individual learning plans. Able to work mostly individually or in a team (rarely), to produce programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organisation, such as Process Trainers, Supervisors, Leads, Line Managers, & Senior Managers. Develop effective induction programmes & give Inductions. Monitor & review the progress of trainees through discussions with Managers & employees. Amend & revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment & keep up to date with developments in training by attending relevant courses, research new technologies & methodologies in workplace learning & present this research. Help line managers & trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one- to- one basis or in groups. Have an understanding of e- learning techniques & where relevant, be involved in the creation &/ or delivery of e- learning packages. Conduct training programs for administration & middle / senior management. Works to keep training programs vibrant & entertaining in order to engage employees & trainees. Provide online & conference call training session for offsite employees. Interacts with upper management & board of directors to determine the specific requirements in each job description. Creates monitoring strategies to ensure that employees are performing job duties according to training. Develops reports & evaluates job performance of all personnel including members of the management team.
