Job Description

The role is responsible for managing accurate and timely financial results on behalf of the Accenture Enterprise Enablement (AEE) Organization. This incorporates the annual and quarterly forecasting cycles, ensuring implementation of the AEE economic models, business case management and monthly financial reporting. The role is responsible for the co-ordination with the India Domestic Finance Lead & other cross-functional teams within/outside the region. Project management of IFRS 16 New Lease Standard Implementation. To oversee the project and work closely with Global Technical Accounting, CIO and other local controllership Teams. Work on ad hoc projects relating to implementation of new lease standard. Responsible for ensuring that the contractual terms in Real estate lease contracts are reflected in the IFRS financial accounts Review all IFRS templates including dilapidations, impairments etc. Review of all lease related disclosures in the financial statements. Proactively communicate with and work with the Corporate Real Estate group/Global Controllership and GAAP team on all aspects of Real estate accounting including ad hoc Real Estate projects Key Responsibilities Responsible for supporting Global and Local teams for New Lease Standard Implementation and overviewing the project. Responsible for ensuring that all Real Estate leases are accounted for in line with Accenture policy and with IFRS. Build effective working relationship with local and global leads. Support statutory and internal audit teams in terms of audit requirements. Monitor processes with a view for process improvement Provide GAAP and technical advisory support to finance and real estate teams. Review month-end related lease cost reporting and other associated costs and review of ROUA schedule and lease liabilities schedule and other balance sheet schedules related to leases. Reports To: Manager Skills Required: IFRS Accounting background with strong analytical skills. Positive attitude and flexibility. Customer focused. Sense of responsibility, initiative and high quality work standard. Good communication and interpersonal skill. Team worker with ability to coach and motivate team. Fluency in English. Flexibility to work across all time zones and cultures due to global nature of the role.
